The Hall at Abbey-Cwm-Hir is a 52 room, Grade II* Gothic Revival mansion in 12 acre grounds overlooking the ruins of a 12th century cistercian abbey. It offers tours to individuals, couples and small to large groups around a true family home. The tours combine outstanding architecture, stunning interiors, fascinating collections and beautiful gardens.
The house was remodelled in 1869 by the Phillips family, and the Humpherston family restored it over a 10 year period. Catering is served in the Garden Room, fully licensed plus teas and coffees.
Christmas at The Hall is a magical time. All 52 rooms are decorated to individual themes between 1st November and 6th January with a Hot Christmas Buffet available in the Village Hall.
